Dr. Ruhi Soni is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Soni Vision Institute in Cypress, Texas. With over 15 years of experience across a wide range of ophthalmology settings, she brings a depth of knowledge and surgical expertise that is matched only by her genuine compassion for her patients.
Dr. Soni earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, one of the most respected academic medical institutions in the country. Her rigorous training gave her a strong foundation in both the science and the art of eye surgery — a combination she brings to every procedure and every patient interaction.
She founded Soni Vision Institute with a clear vision: to create a practice where patients receive the same level of care she would want for her own family. That means never rushing, always listening, and investing in the most advanced surgical technology available so that every patient has access to the best possible outcome.
Dr. Soni specializes in cataract surgery, advanced technology lens implants (including the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), multifocal, Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF), and toric lenses), LASIK, PRK, and corneal surgery. She takes a personalized approach to every consultation, carefully evaluating each patient’s unique anatomy, lifestyle, and vision goals to recommend the ideal treatment plan.
